AI-Powered Inline Inspection

With the VS-G controller and the VS platform, Keyence provides AI-powered vision systems for in-line inspection and robotics. The controller features up to 32 processor cores with separate DSP, CPU, and AI engine cores, as well as up to 64GB of RAM. The VS All-in-One smart camera complements the controller to form a unified platform – two variants are available: models with ZoomTrax offering resolutions of up to 15MP, and models with a C-mount connector offering resolutions of up to 25MP. The company developed the IV4 series for presence and difference checks, while the SR-X series and the ST-BR1500 provide specialized solutions for reading codes, even under difficult conditions or on the undersides of packages. The IV4 sensor can perform 250 checks per second. The SR-X wide-angle CMOS sensor features 2.3MP and 6 CPU cores and draws on a database of 100,000 reference images. The ST-BR1500 has a frame rate of up to 3,200Hz and captures up to 36 lines of pixels per frame.
